Presente Continuo is the only tense I recognize myself in. It is fusion and disruption, contamination and union. It includes questions I’ve posed for decades, discussions I’ve been having on repeat, different iterations of the same query, time that folds in on itself and extends infinitely forward. An invitation, or an entanglement.
Home is an experiential space. If nothing happens at home, I go out.
I observe, listen, interact, make mistakes, and collect.
At the end of the day, after so much doing and meeting,
I return home exhausted, satisfied, and contaminated.
Richer than the day before, we all give and receive.
We all receive and give.
You steal and distribute, and, once empty, you take again without permission.
