I selected these images because, even after many years, they conveyed novelty, a response, a commitment, a new way of being. I did everything I could to understand, to immerse myself, to absorb. I always understood that you can't take what you like from a culture and discard the rest. One way or another, you will find yourself conditioned, persuaded by that culture.
